God sent His Son to die for me and all of humanity. It is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that has saved me and delivered me from 23 years of enslavement to drugs. In 1968, at the age of 17 and a senior in High School I began using drugs with classmates during the hippie movement, we where labeled the “Psychedelic Generation”. I was raised in a Christian home and was loved by both my parents therefore; I have no excuse for the path that I chose.
I experimented with marijuana, LSD, and prescription medications. In 1971 I was drafted into the U.S. Army. It was an honor to have served my country during those difficult times our country was going through. It was during this time I was introduced to heroin. After finishing my tour (with honor) in the army I spent the next 17 years using alcohol, heroin, and cocaine. I tried 7 different secular drug institutions. I was prescribed Valium and anti-depressants for my mental torment and methadone for my Heroin addiction.
In 1991 I finally surrendered to God by entering Canaan Land Ministries, a one year Christian recovery program in Alabama. It was at Canaan Land that I received Jesus as LORD & Savior. For the first time God’s Word became revelation to me by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. He also gave me purpose for life. God spoke to my heart and told me to testify of His love to others enslaved in abusive lifestyles. I graduated from Canaan Land with success.
In 1993 I joined Mercy Ships for three years as an ocean going missionary. I was assigned to work in the engine room. It was a time of refining in my life as the Lord purged out years of bitterness, selfishness, faultfinding, and anger. God used the uncomfortable (the smell of diesel, and seasickness) environment of a ships engine room to develop character and intimacy with Him. I asked God for a Christian wife. I met my wife to be, Debbie the first year with Mercy Ships. God had sent me His best and we were joined in marriage in 1998. There was much more preparation for the both of us.
In 1996 I became a Staff member of Maranatha Church in Mont Belvieu, Texas. I was trained in different ministry assignments while at Maranatha Church. I am convinced if it had not been for strong anointed leadership at Maranatha Church, I would not have been qualified for mentoring men. God has placed me for training by His best and I am thankful. After four years I was released with my pastor’s blessings to pioneer Shiloh Ministries in the year 2000.
My life has been dramatically changed by God’s divine intervention. The LORD has added so many blessings to my life to value and steward. God is love and He is real. Do not miss out on the best gift ever given to mankind, “Jesus Christ." Life is a matter of choices. Choose the abundant life with God or a life of insignificance. God desires to give you joy unspeakable. I praise God for His faithfulness in response to my cry for help.

Debbie Fondren - Founder & Sr.Leader
Debbie answered a salvation call as a twenty year old, but it was not until later that she came to understand and have revelation of Jesus as her Lord. Looking to fill the void in her heart, she came up short every time. Many poor decisions involving relationships fear of man, people pleasing, selfishness, pride, and performance oriented snares kept her in bondage.
In 1992 a double tragedy involving the complete destruction of her home by fire and then 10 days later the death of her former husband through suicide left her with a numbness and further void that only God could remedy. After realizing the degree of her helplessness, she cried out to God for help and she was ready to listen, obey and do it God’s Way.
Being led to quit her job as a Registered Nurse with Hospice, she launched out following The Holy Spirit’s lead, and joined Youth with a Mission in 1993. Serving in Nashville and abroad for five years she discovered God was not finished with her, and that HE loved her simply for her. She met Rocky in the Dominican Republic while serving as a Missionary Nurse to the people of Barahona. Continuing to follow God’s leading, Debbie and Rocky were married in 1998.
Trusting God that HE had indeed orchestrated HIS plans for a Ministry called Shiloh, Debbie alongside her husband Rocky stood in faith, and against all odds, called out those things that were not as though they were and believed for God to manifest HIMSELF step by step. Today, God continues to reveal HIMSELF at Shiloh Ministries in Liberty, Texas.
Debbie celebrates her life of faith and amazing Grace through JESUS her LORD. She loves being an eye witness to miracles everyday of provision, healing, deliverances, restoration, and redemption. Numbers of men entering Shiloh and their families are being set free and discovering for themselves HIS Amazing Love, Grace, and YES, that HE has a plan for their lives and that HE SIMPLY LOVES THEM FOR THEM.
Cliff Brast - Sr. Counselor
Cliff Brast is from Sealy TX. He started using alcohol when he was 12 years old. As Cliff grew older he started experimenting with marijuana. In the early 1980’s Cliff got married and had two sons. He had a good job in the oilfield, but this was also the beginning place of his addiction to crystal meth and cocaine and an end to his first marriage.
As his life spiraled out of control Cliff began to take inventory of his life, but did not know where to turn for help. It was during this time God brought a wonderful woman named Melissa into his life, to be his wife. After being married only 3 months and still struggling with addictions, Cliff entered Shiloh and graduated with success in June 07. After graduation Cliff returned to his wife, and their home Church. They became faithful members and developed into servant leaders.
After four years of mentoring in their home Church Cliff & Melissa moved to Liberty, TX and back to Shiloh. Cliff demonstrates his gratitude by testifying that God reconciles and restores man, so destiny can be fulfilled.
Cory graduated Shiloh Ministries October 18, 2013. Having been thru secular rehabs, psychiatric institutes and prison, it was Jesus Christ and He alone that gave Cory freedom from addictions (1 Cor. 15:57). After Graduating from Shiloh, Cory was asked to serve on Staff at Shiloh for one year. After serving faithfully he felt lead to pursue foreign missions. He joined YWAM Tyler Texas, where he attended and completed a School of Discipleship and a School of Evangelism. Cory was given the opportunity to minister in Chile, Argentina and do urban ministry in Germany. Cory is grateful for the opportunity to be a missionary whether it is on foreign soil or a domestic setting like Shiloh Ministries. Cory returned to Shiloh Ministries where he is currently serving as a Resident Counselor, Office Manager and Bible Teacher.
Aaron Dupuis - Residential Counselor
Aaron Dupuis was born and raised in southern Louisiana. He grew up in a loving family, but at the age of 15 he began using drugs. It started with marijuana, but by the time he was 20 he was using heroin, alcohol and other opioids. He began stealing from his family and eventually others. 2015 was a year that brought three in-patient rehabs and three out-patient rehab programs. Then in December that year, he was arrested on multiple felony theft charges. He reached out to the Court system in his Parish for help. They recommended he contact Shiloh. He was approved for entrance into Shiloh Ministries in January of 2016. His one year at Shiloh was so transformational that Aaron was desiring to be enrolled in our Intern Program after graduation. Since his graduation in January of 2017 Aaron has been an exemplary Intern. Then in August of 2017 he was promoted to Ministry Staff as a Resident Councilor. We are blessed to have Aaron as a member of our Staff team.

Mark Tupper- Residential Counselor
Mark Tupper grew up in Shreveport, LA with loving parents and an older brother. At the age of 18 he moved out of his parent’s house to go to college and quickly ended up on drugs and alcohol. He started using cocaine, crack, marijuana, and methamphetamine to “fit in” with guys he worked with. Life quickly went downhill for Mark after he quit going to classes because of feeding his addiction. Over the course of 10 years he went through various secular rehabs and 12 step programs only to end up back in addiction every time. In May of 2011 he was arrested for shoplifting and did 25 days in jail. When he got out of jail, he decided that he had been through enough and sought out Shiloh Ministries. Mark graduated from Shiloh in June 2012 and started his own lawn business for a year. At this point the Holy Spirit brought to his remembrance Romans 12: 1-2 which says, “We are to present our bodies as living sacrifices for this is our reasonable worship.” With the Holy Spirit’s direction he went to work with teenagers at the Harvest House Ministries. While serving there and living a life of prayer, the Lord opened a door for Mark to return to Shiloh as a Staff person. This was a manifestation of a vision that Mark had while a student at Shiloh. The Lord had shown Mark working at Shiloh in service of Him. He graciously accepted this honor to help in the molding process of MIGHTY MEN OF GOD that are led by the Holy Spirit.

Joey Brack - Resident Counselor
Joey is a 2014 Graduate of Shiloh Ministries. Tragedy struck Joey's life at the age of 7 when his father died of a heroin overdose and at the age of 14, Joey himself began a fellowship with darkness, using substance and alcohol. In his mid twenties Joey found himself in the grips of a vicious addiction to crack cocaine. The losses caused by this stronghold were devastating as Joey found himself jobless, divorced and nearly homeless. In a place of brokenness and desperation Joey reached out to Shiloh Ministries. At the end of his rope, Joey found himself being lifted up into the arms of Christ. After arriving at Shiloh, Joey surrendered himself to the Word and heard the call to the Great Commission to reach the nations. Shortly after graduating Shiloh, Joey went to Youth With A Mission. Serving for nearly 3 years in missions, Joey has carried the gospel into 6 nations which include Haiti, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Nepal ,Greece and Italy. In January of 2017 Joey heard the voice of the Lord leading him to come back to Shiloh and serve as a staff member for a season. During this time Joey has been focused on teaching the men in the classroom and giving back to the ministry that launched him to his calling. We are very grateful to have Joey as a valuable asset in training other men for Divine Purpose.
