We are living in such urgent times. The time is short, the lost are lying in the balance, and we as Disciples of Christ need more fervency than ever before. We must have passionate intimacy with The Lord to carry His heart to those that are yet to surrender to Him. We believe 2024 is a year of Spiritual Maturity for The Body of Christ.

Living a crucified life on a daily basis is our reasonable service unto our Lord. We cannot achieve this in and through ourselves. It takes Holy Spirit empowering us as born-again followers of Christ to be able to die daily to our flesh and with our whole heart surrender to His Will, and His Ways.

Spiritual Maturity will be evident when we are sincere and ask Holy Spirit to help us to put on Christ, die to our flesh, forgive us of sin, and through humility receive His resurrected power on display to represent Him well.

Our desires will line up with His desires as we become Pliable vessels fit for The Master’s Use.
Many in His Body want the power gifts of The Spirit flowing in and through them, yet the fruit is still fragile, and lacking the nurturing to truly steward in a reverential awe the very gifts that would exalt Jesus and draw the lost in.
There are certain disciplines that we should yield to on a daily basis to be empowered by Holy Spirit to excel in our spiritual maturity. We cannot afford to be casual with our inquiring of Him and asking Him for Help.

The following are disciplines that each one of us as a true Disciple of Jesus should be keenly aware of, however, we can never review enough the importance of our faithful stewardship to not only know these disciplines but truly live them out faithfully day by day.

1) Living in Resurrected Power is inevitable when we Practice the Presence of God. We must get charged every day. We must be intentionally aware of His Presence. It is energizing to meditate on His Word, Pray His Word, and Speak His Word. It is wisdom to ask Him for sensitivity to His Voice, and a pure heart to wholeheartedly surrender to do His will. It is a Power surge to Enjoy His presence. (Psalm 16:11) (Ps.27:4)
2) When we live in resurrected Power, we desire to Share Him with others. The lost all around us are targets for the power within us to be on display with love in action. (Proverbs 11:30)
3) We no longer have selfish ambitions. We have revelation of stewardship. He owns. We steward for Him. We steward with Him. We steward well done by His power. (Matthew 6:9-13)
4) Dying Daily is no dread, but our utmost desire because we long to be more like The Lord. (Galatians 2:20)
5) Humility and Gratitude are key to the empowerment of resurrection power being utilized in and through our lives. God opposes the proud but gives Grace to the humble. When we are grateful for Him and what He purchased by His Blood, it places us in position to truly do exploits with Him. (James 4:6) (Daniel 11:32b)
6) We are quick to repent of anything which we may have grieved His heart about. Our Fellowship with Him truly matters to us. We have tasted The Lord and the things of this world do not satisfy. We truly want to please Him with every aspect of our lives. (1 John 1:9) (Ephesians 5:8-10) (Colossians 1:10)
7) When adversity comes, Our Faith and trust in The Lord sustains us through His resurrection Power. We have a History with Him to draw from. (Psalm 46:1)
8) We have been given revelation by Him and an understanding through our relationship with Him, that we are utterly dependent upon Him, and that is where we want to stay. Psalm 23:1-6.
9) We find ourselves content within the boundaries He has established for us. Godliness with contentment is great gain. The boundaries for me have fallen in good places. (Psalm 16:5-8) (1 Timothy 6:6-10 )

Beloved, are you utilizing resurrection Power? We are filled with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead & yet too often we live like we are powerless. God is inviting us to be conduits of His Immeasurably great power to affect massive change in the circumstances & lives around us. As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, Let’s revisit Christ & His assignment that He finished so faithfully for our redemption. May we embrace this same Resurrection Power that is available by Holy Spirit. Mature More in 24! Resurrection Sunday is Every day!
