AUTHORITY & DIVINE PERSPECTIVE

“He has made us a Kingdom of Priests for God His Father” Revelation 1:6

We are called to be Representatives of Jesus who walk circumspectly in this dark world. “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise, but understand what the will of The Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:15-17). Only the Holy Spirit can guide us through the circumstances of life moment by moment and with the many people we will meet. We not only have family, but co-workers, neighbors, brothers, and Sisters in The Body of Christ, even those that are strangers that we see in our day in and day out lives. We must have Holy Spirit Discernment to navigate through all these relationships while walking in our God given Authority with a Divine Perspective. It is imperative that we lean upon His Help in order to represent HIM Well to every person we are in contact with. We may very well be utilized by HIM at any given point of the day to be HIS answer for someone. We do not know in the natural world what others are truly experiencing. It takes Godly Motives of a Pure heart and being alert and focused. Holy Spirit will reveal things to the engaged follower of Christ. He makes His mysteries known to the one that is truly desiring to be used for HIS Glory. We have been given Divine Authority that JESUS paid the price for. We, as Disciples of Jesus should always be prepared for any assignment that HE presents to us. This world is very vicious, and people are hurting, and lacking in hope. There are some that have walked away from the faith. We, as Followers of Christ are to be a people who have keen sensitivity to Holy Spirit with HIS Gift of Discernment operating in and through us. We do not want to neglect what HE is clearly revealing to us. We are not to judge with a critical mindset and lack of love, but we are to listen to Holy Spirt and stay alert so that we can be a vessel fit for The Master’s use. Revelation 1:6 states We have been made Priests unto our God, & We have Kingdom responsibilities. This is the position that we are to flow in. Jesus Himself is our model. Yet Some are neglectful & involved in blatant sin while toying with their eternal destination. People are facing devastations, loses, health challenges, financial issues, family relational challenges, and all sorts of distractions that would keep any of us from the peace, hope, love, that Jesus died for. We have to be a people that are for sure all in and not shrinking back no matter what comes our way. It takes Him in us, and our yielding to Him for Him to continue to fill us with His Presence. We cannot afford our lamps to be without oil. He is our life source. If we are halfhearted in our intimacy with Him, we can be swallowed up fast by the enemy of our souls & with our flesh & the cares of this world. We are here for an assignment. We are not here to pacify our flesh and take up oxygen. We have been Divinely given Authority to be HIS Heart, Hands, and Mouthpiece to others around us. It is HE that gives us the strategies and Wisdom for each assignment. Sometimes it is the most loving thing we can do when we confront an individual. It may very well be life and death for them. If we pass off an assignment because it may be uncomfortable, or we would rather not get involved, or we do not want to be perceived in a negative way…. We are not operating in our Priestly Kingdom roles. We are to change the atmosphere by carrying His very presence into situations and circumstances. It is so important that we abide IN HIM continually. We cannot afford to linger in and out of fellowship with HIM. We must be intentional and continual in cultivating Hosting His Presence and listening to HIM. It is imperative that we are people that abound in love. Paul's prayer in Philippians chapter 1 is that God’s People would abound in love. Abounding in love gives us wisdom to discern what is best in every situation. We must be adamant for sanctification to be worked in us by Holy Spirit so that our motives will be pure, & that HIS Discernment guides us in every situation. A righteous King & Priest are Protective to their very own hurt. We are reminded of Ezra & Nehemiah. Both Godly Men had similar circumstances to deal with yet responded with different reactions. Both men were pure in heart, and both representing God’s Divine Nature. Ezra, being so broken regarding the folly & sin of others pulled his own hair out in such sorrow and repentance. Nehemiah on the other hand literally pulled out the beards of those that were clearly operating in disobedience. Both Men absolutely God fearing and devoted in their assignments. Ezra with restoring The Word of God among the people returning from exile, and Nehemiah, a decade later was restoring the walls around Jerusalem. Ezra as a Priest and Nehemiah as a Governor but clearly a Kings role being manifested. We, as Jesus’ Bride, are called to be both. We are to be sorrowful when we see neglect, foolishness, and yes, blatant sin, and it should catapult us into prayer, deep sorrow and repentance. We should also be ready upon Holy Spirit’s leading to boldly confront sin. Jude speaks so vividly about snatching people from the fire. You have to be bold & full of Holy Spirit Power to snatch someone out of Hell’s Fury. This Beloved requires discernment. This takes The Love of God flowing in us. We must be humble Bondservants to truly operate in the Priestly Kingly anointing that Jesus Purchased for us. Reactions are to be accompanied by Pure Motives. If we respond impulsively to those around us, we can forfeit representing HIM. JESUS is the greatest Priest, King, & Prophet. HE overthrows the money changers tables in the temple, yet HE allowed mortal men to strike HIM and pull out HIS Beard as HE was being brutally tortured for our sins. JESUS is the most balanced one we know. HE only did what The Father instructed. The question is, are we manifesting our Priestly Anointing? Are we stewarding well that what HE died for? The Priestly & Kingdom Anointing is for our conformity to HIS IMAGE, to help others get close to The Lord, truly seeing people through HIS lens, and being ready with DIVINE DISCERNMENT with any assignment HE places before us. Christ Disciples should not be ignorant of satan’s devices. The word ignorance from the Greek meaning is agnoeo, and it comes about when the believer is uninformed and lacks suitable information to discern what is going on in the spiritual realm. There is absolutely no substitute for Divine Perspective. It requires a pure heart of obedience to walk out our God given Authority. We cannot consistently steward well our authority without abiding In HIM. Intimacy with Him is a must. HE is our life Source. With out HIM, our lens become cloudy quick, & We become selfish fast. With deliberate, vigilant determination, we must live rooted in God’s Wisdom & an understanding of God’s will. James gives us instructions. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5). We, the redeemed of The Lord are privileged to know Him, Love Him, enjoy His Presence, Become like Him, do Exploits with Him, & steward Authority with Divine Perspective.
