"Coming Attraction"

This title Coming Attraction is used many times on billboards for advertisement purposes. It seems to get our attention when we see it. We are curious. We want to know what it is that is coming. These two words are often used in theaters to announce a soon coming block buster film. Yet it is used at times to announce something new coming into an area, new facilities perhaps. I know that in the small town of Liberty, in which we live, Rocky and I are often wondering what is being constructed commercially. What is it? How will it be of benefit? How much longer until it is ready? The Billboards fulfill their purpose when they get our attention. They are a major advertisement tool. Webster defines coming as to arrive, take place, to drop in on. And one definition of attraction is defined as an event. This is interesting, an event that is going to take place or drop in on us. When I write of this, I have on my heart a Spiritual Coming Attraction. On God's Prophetic calendar, it would be the next event to take place. Those who are rapture ready will be caught up with Jesus in the clouds. I Thessalonians 4:16-17 When is the release of this coming attraction? Many Men and Women of God are preaching on this topic a lot lately. No one knows the exact date or time. The Bible is clear in Matthew 24:36. "But of that exact day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only The Father." However, The Bible tells us we will know it is soon according to all the things we see happening around us, spiritual billboards if you will. Matthew 24:33 so when you see all these things happening, you will know that the time has almost come. This event is coming and no one knows the hour, but The Father in Heaven Himself, but it is soon according to Spiritual signs all around us. Check out all of Matthew chapter 24 and compare it to World News today. If this is the case, who is they who will be caught up with Him? What qualifies you for rapture readiness? No one can without the remission of their sins through The Blood of Jesus Christ. One must have a revelation by The Holy Spirit of God of their spiritual poverty, their utterly helpless state, and that one must call out to God for salvation through Jesus. He paid in full for our departure from this corrupted life. Yet many say a prayer and return to their previous lifestyle. The Bible says you will know them by their fruit. If there is a transformation it will be evident through daily living. 2 Peter 1: 3-11 expounds on the kind of life we are to be living after asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins. We will begin and continue to look like HIM. This passage of scripture is clear that those who are ardent, diligent, tenacious, those who are serious about their life in Christ will not come up short. It is interesting that verse 11 says that if you add these things to your life then your entrance into heaven will be sure. He has given us the power to do this kind of living, but it is up to us to live it out, a disciplined life. These ones will be watching. Those who are expecting to meet Him in the clouds at any moment. If we are indeed watching for Him, we will be living to Glorify Him. Many are busy going down the highway of life and fail to see the billboards. Yet all of creation is shouting PERHAPS TODAY. Keep Watch! Do not get caught up in this world's stupor. The Bible also makes it most clear that the ones who endure till the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22. Endure means a lasting abiding to Him. Abide means to cling to, rely upon, comply with, and follow. He, who overcomes, prevails, will meet with Him in the clouds. Jesus has overcome the devil, yet it is our part to overcome our flesh, our selfish lives that profit no eternal value for His Glory. Do not miss the coming attraction soon to take place. Surrender to Jesus, Add to your Faith, 2 Peter: 3-11. Watch and live like He is coming at any moment, overcome your flesh, by saying no to selfishness, and worldliness, and Yes to reverential awe to Him. He has been faithful to His Part. Receive from Him and live your life like PERHAPS TODAY. Be that walking billboard that makes others curious of the soon coming attraction. Revelation 22:20 Jesus said, "I am on my way, I will be there soon." The message Bible.
