SHILOH MESSENGER - September 2025

“Let The Redeemed of The Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy” Psalm 107:2

Recently, We had the wonderful blessing of several Shiloh Graduates coming back to share their testimonies with the current Students. These Graduates had to travel a bit of a distance to come back. They put forth what it took to come testify of God’s Goodness in their lives. These testimonies are nothing short of the miracle working Grace of God. When a testimony is told, it strengthens even the more the one who is giving it, and it produces hope and an increasing faith within the ones that get to hear. The Lord expects us to give our testimonies. When we tell others of what God has done in our lives, it gives us that space to reflect, and truly honor God again, and give Him thanks for what He divinely orchestrated. The enemy will always try to keep us silent regarding being a witness. The enemy of our souls knows that we overcome him (the devil) by The Blood of The Lamb and by the word of our testimony. (Revelation 12:11) The Apostle John goes on in that same passage in Revelation and states, and they did not love their lives to the death. This means when we are redeemed by The Blood of Jesus, we die to our flesh. We belong to Jesus. It does not matter what may come against us. Even if our very physical lives are being threatened with death itself for testifying about Jesus, We still choose Jesus. We do not stop proclaiming The Name of Jesus.
There are so many examples in God’s Word of people giving testimony of God’s Grace, His Mercy, and His overflowing Omnipotent Love. We read about the woman at the well who shared with the city about her meeting with Jesus when she went to draw water. She took a high risk with her kind of background and within that culture, and in that time frame, to proclaim whom she had just encountered. The Lord thought it was noteworthy to include it in His Word for all to read about it. Her testimony gives others revelation of His character. He welcomed her to have dialogue with Him, and reveal to her, who He is. This is for everyone who desires. You see, sharing your testimony brings God Glory. We are not glorifying the struggle; we are glorifying God in it. When we share our testimonies, we are actually showcasing how God’s love runs deep and causes us to be more eager to run to Him even in the midst of our personal trials within.

We give Him more honor and Praise by sharing what He has done in our lives. Essentially, we are boasting In Jesus. Our testimonies are compelling when we truly are grateful for who He is, and what He has done. When we share out of gratitude for Him, it causes our sharing with others to be anointed with His presence. Our testimonies are passionate and life giving. There are miracles in our testimonies! Our testimonies have supernatural ability through the power of Holy Ghost to compel others to surrender to Him, and desire to want to know this one, and True Living God in whom we proclaim. Our words are life giving, and hope building to others of like precious faith as well. Our testimonies should always leave the hearer pondering and desiring for more. We must be people that keep telling THE GOOD NEWS !

The term testimony derives from a Hebrew word that means to do it again. Our testimony shows that God delights in doing it again, and again, and again. Not just for the one sharing the testimony, but for anyone else. Revelation 19:10 states, “ The testimony of Jesus is The Spirit of Prophecy.” It is inspiring to hear and to know that God is no respecter of persons and what He has done for one, He can and will do for others.

We encourage you, as a redeemed one of The Lord, to share your testimony. If The Lord has ever done anything for you, make it count, Make Him known to others! You never know who is positioned for that moment in time to have a breakthrough by the hand of The Almighty! It also keeps you in a heart posture of remembrance of the goodness of God upon your own life! Never forget! Never stop telling! Pray for opportunities to share. OUR TESTIMONY SHOULD ALWAYS POINT TO JESUS! IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS!
