Hello my name is Todd McManus and I’m living the life that the Lord has created for me. I was addicted to the world and all of its wicked ways for about 25 years. In December of 2003, God directed me to Shiloh Ministries in Liberty, Texas. I will never forget the day I arrived. I thought I was going to change the place. Instead of me changing the place The Lord turned me upside down, inside out and changed me into a God- Fearing Man. I graduated from Shiloh in Jan. of 2004 and have been living a clean and sober life for almost 7 years. Shiloh is in its 10th year and the Lord is still performing miracles and setting men free from their bondage of addiction.  I know that many have graduated since me to live and fulfill the dreams the Lord has put in their hearts. It was by the Grace of God, I was given a second chance at a life I had totally continued to mess up. I have been redeemed and I am saying so!

 

 

I’m currently sitting under the ministry of Pastor Wally & Marilyn Hickey ( Orchard Road Christian Center) in Denver Colorado. I’m so thankful for Shiloh Ministries and all the Godly people and the Wisdom of God that surrounds the Ministry. I’ve been reminded over the years of things that happened at Shiloh that changed my life. Brother David Walls, imparted what he used to call nuggets (words of wisdom) into my life, and those nuggets are constantly brought up into my Spirit. Pastor Rocky use to tell us that if we would follow the Lord, He would put that Godly helpmate into our life. I was patient and waited five years for that to happen and I was blessed with a wonderful wife who loves the Lord. Sister Debbie use to get that fire in her eyes when she taught us The Word. I remember one day we were visiting a church and someone asked her what happened when one of the graduates fell from Sobriety and went back into the world and what kind of plan did Shiloh have for that……….She quoted Isaiah 55:11, “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it (NLT).” “WOW”………Holy Ghost Power!!!!! I will never forget that moment. Bro. Mike Isham (AKA) “Machine Gun Mike” would come and teach, and let me tell you the devil trembled when he was delivering the message.  What a fired up brother for Jesus Christ! God has truly anointed Godly people at Shiloh.

 

It is not by coincidence or by the arm of the flesh. Shiloh Ministries is God ordained and breathed into existence. The Lord yoked me with special brothers in Christ while at Shiloh and taught me humility while living with  men in a Dorm filled to capacity. We had to choose to prefer our brothers and walk in love and humility or you would not make it.  There are so many memories to this day from my year of sitting at the feet of Jesus and being filled with the word that will be with me forever. I’ve been blessed beyond measure since leaving Shiloh and I am walking in victory in Life. This is what the Lord had intended for me all along but I had to get to a place of surrender. Even though I graduated nearly seven years ago from Shiloh, I do not forget and I give back to Shiloh Ministries financially every month. I also thank and ask God to bless all of the supporter’s lives of Shiloh Ministries. Without the Lord and the help of you, Shiloh Ministries could not continue to be a major factor in the setting free of men just like me.
