Unrelenting is that which does not diminish in intensity and effort. It means not softening or yielding in determination, not weakening in vigor. It is not capable of being persuaded by arguments. it is uncompromising. It is sticking to a determined course, HOLDING STEADY. We are speaking of HIS UNDIMINISHING LOVE. Nothing can diminish HIS loving pursuit for Sinners & Saints. Nothing can hinder HIM in HIS pursuit for HIS people. David, The Psalmist penned it this way, “Lord you have closed me in before & behind, where shall I go from your Spirit? Where shall I flee from Your presence? If I ascend up into Heaven, or if I make my bed in hell, behold You are there.” David is reflecting on his lifestyle, the times when he was doing good, & he is also talking about such lows in his life that it was like a living hell. Sometimes in our human condition everything is going fine, and sometimes we are so low, we feel unworthy, condemned. David is talking about literally experiencing a hellish manifestation in his life, and yet he said, I cannot get away from YOUR PRESENCE, I cannot get away from YOUR LOVE. YOU ARE STILL PURSUING ME. No matter where I go, no matter how I have drifted away, no matter my human condition YOU were there, YOUR LOVE is unrelenting. I cannot chase YOU away. YOU do not even accept my arguments on why YOU shouldn't love me. We see this all through the Psalms. David loved The Word of God. He said it was a lamp unto his feet, and in spite of all of this, David sinned grievously against God. Have you been there precious reader? Do you remember? OH BUT HE WOULD NOT LET you go, No…. HE would not let us go! HIS Love is unfathomable. Oh how HE loves! LOVE is very much emphasized in our Culture this month of February. We see all the advertisements, the cards, the flowers, the candy, and all the promotion in our society to give an expression of love to someone, but also very commercialized and sadly to say for some it is greedy gain. We are aware to how the world defines love. The world is so conditional. The World is notorious if you do something a certain way, & you conform to the world standards, look a certain way, or expectations of you are met, then you will maybe be accepted & “loved.” This kind of love is very much based on certain conditions and is fickle & fleeting. When we encounter what TRUE LOVE IS, GOD’S LOVE… It is liberating. HE chose us even while we were yet sinners. When we truly have had an encounter with HIM and that encounter is so undeniable, that we know we have been overshadowed and visited by LOVE, This LOVE grasps our hearts. We find ourselves truly yielding to HIM, then there is such a desire birthed in us to worship HIM. HIS Kindness Leads us to repentance. We do not have to perform, we will understand our value, our significance, our identity. We just simply love to be in HIS Presence. We will yearn to do exploits with HIM, and we will develop in loving HIS Word, and loving ALL People with purity, as HE does love all Sinners, all Saints. We as well will become unrelenting in love even to those that oppose us, all those who have wronged us, all those that have said evil about us, ALL MEANS no one is excluded. And All of this comes forth from HIM moving in us and in our longing to be with HIM and be conformed to HIS image. There is absolutely nothing to compare with HIS LOVE. HIS desire for each of us is that we as well LACK NOT IN LOVE. One of the most powerful prayers we can ever pray when redeemed by HIS BLOOD, & a sincere Follower of HIS, “Father, I do not want to be in lack of LOVE. Help me see everyone through YOUR SONS BLOOD. Help me to Love everyone with your unrelenting love.” We cannot manufacture this kind of Love. It is only given to us by HIS SPIRIT working in & through us & sanctifying us as vessels Pure & Holy. We do not want to stand before HIM on that day & hear, “You were in lack, you did not come to ME and ask ME to give you abounding LOVE for those that I created & died for.” If you have ever been forgiven & you know it was indeed only the mercy & Grace of ALMIGHTY GOD… Think about the sins, you have committed… We all deserve hell.. BUT HIS LOVE that would not let us go until we by HIS SPIRIT, we realized that we were indeed a hopeless mess. We owe HIM everything!!!! HE desires for us to LOVE ALL PEOPLE, SINNERS, & SAINTS. Having relational problems with someone??? LOVE THEM IN THE SECRET PLACES OF YOUR HEART. PRAY FOR THEM. ASK THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY TO WRAP THEM WITH HIS VISITATIONS THAT ARE TANGIBLE. FORGIVE THEM FOR ANY & ALL THEY HAVE EVER DONE. WE MUST BE A PEOPLE KNOWN FOR OUR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Every one of us have been challenged with this at some point in our lives, in loving certain individuals… We all have had our test. Truly it is part of our conforming to HIS IMAGE. HIS GRACE is available to us. God’s Love is restorative, redemptive, & will continue. May we experience God’s Love in new and refreshing ways, as we seek to grow in HIM. God’s Love is the solution needed to restore and heal many things that have been lost. The Apostle Paul penned it so well under the unction of HOLY SPIRIT… Love is patient, Love is kind, Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand it’s own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) “ Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of our need’ (Hebrews 4:16) ARE YOU IN LACK? OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN DESIRES TO FILL US UP AND OVERFLOWING WITH LOVE. The Apostle Paul Prays in Philippians 1:9-11 that our love will abound more & more in depth & insight… this will cause us to be able to discern what is best in every situation & to produce fruit that comes from Jesus & for HIS Glory. Who wants to be more like HIM in 2023? HE IS LOVE UNCONDITIONAL, & UNRELENTING. Let us ask HIM to pour HIS love in and through us for ALL Sinners & Saints & grow in maturity with NO MORE LACK.
