December is the month we celebrate our Lord’s First coming. We take a deep breath, and We surely Selah (pause and think about it.) Much is manifesting undeniably as the soon coming again of our Bridegroom KING is drawing nearer. The manifestations that are permeating our Society are truly indicative of perilous times. The Word Perilous in the Original Greek language means hazardous, very dangerous and risky. Such is being displayed in technicolor as God’s Word warned us in 2 Timothy Chapter 3. The Bible says that in the last days, perilous times will come. We can absolutely testify We are indeed living in perilous times. In addition to the virus that continues to rear its ugly head, chaotic weather patterns, earthquakes, civil unrest, increased violence, wars, hatred that has escalated out of control with people who are lovers of themselves and calling good evil and evil good. This is a dangerous world! God has pre-warned us this would take place. It could be extremely overwhelming if We did not know The One who is in control. We are living in a different world, but yet... these are exciting times, and with great opportunities for the Disciple of Christ Jesus. The Word of God tells us in Daniel 11:32b, The people who know God, will do great exploits. In times like these and with the increasing perilousness mounting moment by moment, we are given a special window of time to partner with The King of The Universe and be carriers of HIS GLORY. This Invitation has been hand delivered by HIM over 2000 years ago when HE came HIMSELF, giving HIS Life so that We could join HIM in HIS Kingdom reign for all of Eternity. We celebrate this month, remembering HIS first Advent. JESUS born of a virgin in a manger to purchase humanity with HIS very life on Calvary to free all who will say yes to HIS Invitation. “And The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen HIS Glory, glory as of the only SON from THE FATHER, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH” John 1:14. It cannot be grasped with our mind reasoning. It is far too weighty. What King would lay HIS life down and die a brutal death for our ransom and our penalty from sin and death? Yet for this very reason HE came, and Hand delivered HIS invitation HIMSELF to Whosoever will. What King of The Universe would leave Heaven and come to this earth and become one of us for the purposes of an invitation? This invitation is not just any invitation. If We truly say yes to this invite, we would be set free for all of Eternity from the clutches of hell, and We shall live with This Amazing King forever! Not just any KING! We can hear the Words of Dr. S.M. Lockridge as he tries to describe THIS KING! “That’s my King! HE is The King of Righteousness, He’s The King of The Ages, He is the King of the Jews, He is the King of Israel. He’s The King of Heaven, He’s The King of Glory, He’s The King of Kings, and He is The Lord of Lord’s. Now That’s my KING!” He is enduringly strong, He is entirely sincere, He’s eternally steadfast, He’s immortally graceful, He’s imperially powerful, He is impartially merciful. That’s my KING! Well, I wonder, do you know HIM? David said, “The Heavens declare The Glory of God, and the firmament shows His Handiwork.” My King is a Sovereign King. No means of measure can define His limitless love. No far-seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply. No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessings. Do You know Him? He’s the greatest phenomenon that ever crossed the horizon of this world. He’s God’s Son. He’s a sinner’s Savior, He is the centerpiece of civilization. He stands in the solitude of Himself. He’s awesome, He is unique. He is unparalleled. He is unprecedented. He is the loftiest idea in literature. He is the highest personality in philosophy. He is the supreme problem in higher criticism. He is the fundamental doctrine of True Theology. He is the core and necessity of spiritual religion. That’s My KING! He is The Miracle of The Age. He is the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him. Well, He is the only one able to supply all of our needs simultaneously. He supplies strength to the weak. He is available for the tempted and the tried. He sympathizes and He saves. He is a Guard, and He guides. He heals the sick. He cleanses the lepers. He forgives sinners. He discharges debtors. He delivers the captives. He defends the feeble. He blesses the young. He serves the unfortunate. He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek. Do You Know HIM? Well, My King is The King of knowledge. He is the wellspring of Wisdom. He is the doorway of deliverance. He is the pathway of peace. He is the roadway of righteousness. He is the highway of Holiness. He is the Gateway of Glory. He is The Master of The Mighty. He is The Captain of The Conquerors. He is The Head of The Heroes. He is The Leader of The Legislators. He is The Overseer of The Overcomers. He is The Governor of Governors. He is The Prince of Princes. He is The King of Kings, and He is The Lord of Lords. That’s My King! Yeah, His office is manifold. His promise is sure. His life is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His Grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous. And His yoke is easy and His Burden is light. I wish I could describe Him to you, but He is indescribable. He is incomprehensible. He is invincible. He is irresistible. Well, You can’t get Him out of your mind. You can’t out live Him and you can’t live without Him. The Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, But they found out they couldn't stop Him. Pilate couldn’t find any fault in Him. Herod couldn’t Kill Him. Death couldn’t handle Him, and the grave couldn’t hold Him! That’s my King! DO YOU KNOW HIM?” As We celebrate His First Coming, we await His Soon Coming again!! Do you know THIS KING? THE INVITATION STILL HOLDS.
