What Intense and Strategic Times we are privileged to live in! Yes, Indeed Privileged and handpicked to be in this particular time frame. As previously stated in last months Newsletter, we are purposed for 21. We are living in Head line News and making History on so many levels in this 2020/2021 and perhaps a few more years time frame. Some of the things that have already transpired, kind of seem like we are in an action packed, science, horror, fiction ,drama, all wrapped up in one. But, it is real life and it is more real than our natural eyes and natural ears see and hear. It is THE BIBLE, GOD’S HOLY WORD being displayed with end time events happening in our lives and in our midst. We did not get to vote on the time that we would be alive on Planet Earth, but God in HIS Sovereignty chose us for such a time as this to be here. It is humbling when you think on terms of eternity and making a difference in these winding down moments of life as we know it on this side. HE designed and destined for each of us to be here in this particular time frame to be HIS Representatives in the final moments before the curtain is drawn. Mind boggling… It is exciting, humbling, daunting, and you kind of want to scratch your head and say huh, me??? YOU sure LORD??? But you know, if you have a History with HIM and you are THE REDEEMED, that THIS ONE does not make mistakes. HE is perfect in all of HIS ways. So in looking at the time, the events, and figuring in our frailty in this equation, but yet knowing HE LIVES IN US, and what is impossible with man is not impossible with God, we must posture ourself before HIM and say YES SIR, and THANK YOU JESUS. Our only reasonable response is to say to HIM, “We are reporting for duty SIR, what would you like me to do with YOU today?” We know because of this LOVE relationship we are in with HIM that it is indeed an adventuresome and sweet fellowship time with HIM, in the midst of it being pretty hairy at times too. This is the ONE RELATIONSHIP that there is no boredom if you are indeed listening, obeying, enjoying HIS fellowship, and yielded to HIM to stretch you at any given moment. It is the most fascinating relationship and journey incomparable to any other. For the Disciple of CHRIST to be alive in this time frame is a high honor. Honestly its like the Special Reserve for the end time Harvest. Wow! Again, quite humbling and …… YIKES!!!!! BIG GULP!!!! The Word of God describes these days we are in like this… “but you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce. People will be self –centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right. With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of The Loving God. “2 Timothy 3:1-4. TPT. “And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold” Matthew 24:12. How then must we be, and what must we do in order to truly cooperate and NOT WASTE our amazingly, handpicked, ever lasting for all of Eternity, special, strategic, spiritual military assignments ? The Word of God is replete with instructions for those that belong to The Lord that we must be alert, focused, and having ears to hear what The Spirit of God is saying. In some of the last words that the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy noted from 2 Timothy 2:4, “No Soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life so that he may please the ONE who enlisted him as a soldier.” There are things that we must do in our activities of daily living that are necessary but if we involve ourselves in idleness and lustful pursuits that have no merit then we are wasting away our God ordained assignments and Destiny. The Word of God tells us in Philippians Chapter 2 that we are to have the mind of Christ. We are to be people who walk In Christlikeness, conformed to HIS Image. Humility and Love are two of the prominent characteristics of Christ and are to be in our lives as well. We are living in a society where hatred and pride are prevailing and if those who belong to Christ are not careful, alert, and focused, we too will be lured in and our love will grow cold, we will murmur and complain, and be prideful and arrogant individuals that the world cannot see any distinction that we are different and not of this world. The Word of God tells us that we are to be Holy, and sanctified unto HIM. We are to be selfless people. The only way we can stay focused in this crooked and perverse generation is to be people of prayer, and The Word. We must stay connected to others in The Body of Christ and we must die to our flesh everyday. The Word of God says to make no provision for the flesh. In order to carry this out, it is vital we have an intimate on going relationship with The Lord Jesus through The Holy Spirit. We have been hand-picked for such a time as this to Represent The Lord Jesus to a crooked and perverse generation, to usher in Revival, and a massive soul Harvest before the final curtain comes down. Ask HIM to strengthen you in the power of HIS Might. Stay close to HIM and others in The Body of Christ that are serious about Hallowing HIS Name. DO NOT WASTE IT ! “So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for HIS purposes.. And don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will. “ Ephesians 5:15-17.
