Tick, Tock goes The Clock

"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming,” Matthew 24:42

As life brings another year, how do you perceive it? With some “The New Year” is just another year of life and with others it causes them to process the old and then decide changes in life style for the New Year. Whatever your perception of this New Year, never forget why your here and the fact that we are all on a Prophetic Time Clock. This Time Clock is in motion and it is ticking, drawing all of us nearer to a place of an account (reckoning); what did you do with Jesus?

We are blessed to live in the United States of America where we have the freedom to worship in a Church on every block (“whom much is given, much is required in return,” Lk. 12:48). This Nation we live in has been entrusted to us by God. Our freedom came with a cost. Our freedom cost the lives of great men and women. They paid it forward with their lives so we could enjoy a life of freedom. But, the ultimate price for freedom was paid by “The Man, Christ Jesus.” Without His purchasing power, man is enslaved to chaotic darkness and left to the tyranny of satan the “ultimate task master” (Colossians 1:13).  As a Christian it is easy to be forgetful of other Nations, who do not know freedom. These countries are the ones who are being deprived of their freedom, in Jesus Christ. This neglect of freedom causes the human heart to be deprived of its most vital instinct, knowing its Creator as a Heavenly Father, who is  a “Lover.”

I’m trying not to be careless in how I address the United States as a Christian Nation. This Nation was given life by our Forefathers who were ordained by God. These Christians gave everything so Christ would be All in all, calling on Him to be Savior and Lord. The Seed of Potential is within us to be a Christian Nation and to be a great blessing. Our True identity is the “Church Triumphant,” in a Nation that sends out missionaries, prints and distributes Bibles and gives to the needy at home and abroad (This is only a portion of what the Church in America is capable of, in preaching Christ to the Nations). Most of us know we have fallen way short of our Divine Assignment in representing Jesus Christ in a fallen world. We know this because of the fruit of un-righteous government on display in the world.  Never in the history of humanity are we seeing in an instant (television & internet) the Prophetic Word of God being violated and on display, with its Truth about humanity and its depravity. “For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them,” Romans 1:26-32. Does this look like our world?

As we see these things in our Nation and the world we live in, what is your response? Is it anger or disgust? Yes, there should be a righteous indignation (*something unjust or wrong), but what are you doing with the urgency of the hour? Me personally, I’m not going to hide my head in the sand and hope for a better day. I have come to a place of intimacy with The Heavenly Father and He has captured my heart. I believe in an exchange, my life for His. No, I have not arrived to a place of perfection, but of daily examination. I feel The Holy Spirit’s Light shining upon my heart aligning it according to God’s Word (Heb. 4:12). So what is The Holy Spirit saying to me? He is telling me I am anointed to represent Jesus in this fallen world and The Source of Power in representing Him is, The Holy Spirit. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him,” Acts 10:38. I believe as Jesus was when He walked the Earth representing The Father so should we. “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world,” 1Jn. 4:17.

I believe this coming New Year the enemy will dial up more fear (terrorism, murder, mayhem, sickness, diseases and weather events) and it will grip the hearts of many. But our response to these fear tactics is to stand! Not in our human power, but in “The Power and The Might of The Lord” (Eph. 6:10)! Jesus Christ has vanquished all His foes at The Cross (Col. 2:15). He has obtained this Great Victory for His Church. Our response is to arise and fulfill the great commission (Matt.28:16-18), for the Lord Jesus to consummate His Kingdom (Ps. 2). Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock…………………..
