Praise God He is faithful and true in all His ways. He is most merciful and full of grace to those who love Him. He gives us a lifetime to repent and turn to Him. When we do, He wash’s us in the blood of His wonderful Son, Jesus. Why blood? Because life is in the blood and God can only have relationship with life and not death. After we have been washed He then fills us with His Spirit for a continuous cleansing as we continuously live a life of repentance and obedience to His loving desires and relationship. We then stand justified in Christ Jesus before Him. After salvation, we are eligible to be overflowing with power through the Holy Spirit by way of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit operating in our lives is made available to us by our asking, believing and receiving. Oh what a glorious experience and what a glorious beginning to the most wonderful experience of life and joy and peace we can have in Christ Jesus. This is just some of what the men of Shiloh learn while they are here for this important year of their life. We here at Shiloh want to thank each and every one of our supporters to this ministry. Pastor Rocky and Sister Debbie have been faithful to answer the call of God for this most needed ministry. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me to talk to Pastor Rocky about teaching for him in 2001. In October of this year, I will have been here for five years. You need to know what you are supporting each month with your giving and your prayers. If a man stays the entire year he receives an education that we believe will challenge any two year Bible student from a Bible College or Seminary. Our program is designed for men who have had a past of co-dependency and have made a conscious decision to live and serve the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Our students learn Theology as well as practical Christian living. Each student attends Bible lectures; must complete Biblical home work and assignments; recite Bible memory verses and must participate in class discussions. They are taught personal discipline based on Bible principals; they learn proper Church ethics as well as improve on work responsibility. Each student studies and learns the following just from my classes alone: Genesis; Exodus; I & II Samuel; Matthew; Mark; Luke; John; Romans; Ephesians; The Five Fold Ministry; Gifts of the Holy Spirit (fruit of the Spirit; Congregational gifts); Revelation; Spiritual Authority and The Tabernacle of Moses. I teach the majority of classes. This is my position here at Shiloh; however there are others who volunteer on a regular basis and who have been faithful for years now to come and teach faithfully every week. They are valuable to this Ministry, and it has been a joint effort in the teaching here at Shiloh. I consider one year in Shiloh’s classroom equal to at least 45 college credit hours and can proudly say that we have had graduates that have entered college, after leaving Shiloh, and begin studies in second year programs. Others have gone into lay ministries in their local churches and some have gone into full-time ministry as associate ministers and teachers. God is truly doing a wonderful work in the lives of these men and it’s all free to them thanks to your generosity. My name is David Walls. I have 22 years of ministry experience. I hold an Associates Degree in Ministry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. I have experience as a lay person, teacher, pastor, and associate pastor. I’m a graduate of Central Christian University and Bible College of which I was also employed. At present I am the Associate Pastor of Son Harvest Church under Pastor Richard Amador, and also the teacher of biblical studies at Shiloh Ministries. Here at Shiloh we know that it is The Word of God that liberates these men. We do not give them methadone to wean them off of heroin or any substitute chemical for temporary relief from mental torment. We give them the most powerful Addiction Buster and Healer in the entire universe. We give them Jesus Christ, the Truth and the Life (Living Word). It takes Him, the Living Word of God to heal, deliver, purify, and give people hope, and purpose. Our Lord prayed these words to the Father in John 17:17: “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth”. This word “sanctify” in Greek means to separate from a profane, to a “sacred” use.
