MEGA MESSAGE

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock, If Anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with me." Revelation 3:20 NKJV

The land and buildings at Shiloh have a rich spiritual heritage. Many saints who have gone before us bathed this land in prayer. Some of the structures go back to the late 1800's. We thank God and know it is a gift and privilege that we are stewards of this Holy site. We are careful regarding what we do here and what we allow here. We know that we are accountable to God for our stewardship. With the faithfulness of God, we have improved and we maintain this extraordinary place. Before we could take men in to help them we had to renovate Sunday school rooms into residential living quarters. These guys rest in a place that has been well saturated with the Word of God. Some of the elderly in our community share precious testimonies with us regarding Shiloh. Many of them went to school here when they were young and also to Church here years ago. They all have a tender spot in their heart for this place and thank God for what He is presently doing here. Upon our first year of operating Shiloh we wondered what to do with a very large object that adorns the property near highway 770 south. I am speaking of an antiquated satellite dish that was installed in the late 1970's, that no longer is used for transmitting. It measures fourteen feet wide and fourteen foot high. What were we suppose to do with this very large and un-productive object displayed boldly on the lawn? How is it you hide something as big as an elephant? Pretend it is not there? I do not think so. Then one day, God revealed to us that it could be used for His Glory. It would not function as it had in years past, but it would be a type of transmitter. We were to use it as a message board for Him. What was it that God wanted to say on this very large track if you will? We believe it is a MEGA MESSAGE. It IS MEGA IN SIZE, YET EVEN MORE MEGA REGARDING THE MEANING OF THE MESSAGE. He shares His heart with His Church. Jesus is knocking at the door of the heart. Not the lost, but the ones that are in the family already. Some have become complacent, selfish, indifferent, lukewarm, and half hearted regarding their relationship with Him. And they have become flippant regarding the things that are on His heart for lost humanity. They are now consumed and concerned with their agendas only. He is most upset with this particular people. He says in the previous verses He would rather them not be committed to HIM at all than to be half committed. He says I would rather you be hot or cold, but not lukewarm. It upsets Him to the degree that He gives a stern warning that He will spew the ones with this condition of the heart, out from Him! Yet He is a loving God, and he knocks on the heart of individuals that are in this pitiful state. He knocks and says if you will open the door of your heart, if you will repent, I will come in and have fellowship with you again. He pleads ever so tenderly. For it is not His will that any of His own be poor, wretched, and blind. This however is the condition of those who have become complacent and selfish. They are in a nauseating condition; yet do not even realize the pathetic state in which they have embraced. They believe that they are in need of nothing. This state of being is subtle. It begins with compromising the "small" issues in life. It happens when conformity to this world is more important, because of personal gain and reputation in this world. It slips in when we question God's Word. When we buy into the question, the lie that the serpent has been using for thousands of years, "Did God really mean it like that." Truth is God has never changed His mind on what He has said in His word. It is forever established. He watches over His word to perform it. He is clear. He does not play games. He is a Holy God. He is loving, kind, good, but He is a God of judgment as well. He is not half way with us. He went all the way to Calvary for us. He looks for no less from His people. We are to be all the way committed to Him in every aspect of our lives. Some, who have not quite understood the present Ministry of Shiloh, presume we are a Half-Way House. However, God always has us respond, No, we are no half way house. We are an all the way house. God has told us to love Him with ALL of our heart, All of our soul, All of our mind, All of our strength. HIS agenda is now our agenda. We are fully committed to Him. The times we live in are serious. We witness the world as Jesus said it would be in Matthew chapter 24. We believe we will see the soon return of Jesus Christ. Is your heart prepared? Are you a half way house? Or are you an ALL THE WAY HOUSE?

Shiloh Ministries is now approaching 7 years of training men in the LORD. We give the LORD honor for the lives that have been snatched out of the pit of hell. We celebrate kingdom life here at Shiloh. All of our supporters have made a tremendous contribution towards lives that forever will be destined for eternity with God. We encourage everyone to give financially. It cost approximately $500.00 a month to house one man. The LORDS Ministry at Shiloh is free to the men who seek help. It is a walk of faith for our financial needs to be met every month. We are asking our readers to please consider sowing financially every month. God always is faithful to speak to those He has asked to give. We believe that His people will respond out of a heart of gratitude for what He has done & continues to do for them. Thank you, as you give, & co-labor with us in the LORDS Ministry at Shiloh. (all financial gifts are tax deductible)
