SHILOH MESSENGER - January 2011

Breath Of God

And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
So I answered, "O Lord God, You know." Ezekiel 37:3

Hello my name is Joseph LeBleu and I am from Oberlin LA. I am 28 years old and I am honored to have been given this opportunity to testify about the Goodness and Faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am married to a beautiful women named Natalie. We have two wonderful daughters, Paytra, twelve years old and Shayden,  five years old.

Eighteen months ago when I came to Shiloh as a student, I thought my marriage was destroyed because of abuse and neglect. Also our relationship with our girls had been damaged due to poor parenting and figured nothing was left but dry bones.  Any sign of life had been completely sucked out of our marriage and family. I was a hopeless case. I had the title of  husband but knew nothing about love or being a  priest of my household. I had the title of father but knew nothing about fatherhood. I had the title of son but knew nothing about my identity as a son of God. I was in desperate need of a Savior, Deliverer, Healer and Friend. I encountered Him while at Shiloh, His name is JESUS CHRIST!!!

I cannot thank Him enough for what He has done to save me from a life of meaningless. He has made all things new and brought a life of significance. The Lord as brought passion in my life for Him and breathed new life into my marriage. I was a failure at being a husband to my wife, Natalie. But as I began to seek the true Love of my life, He began to teach me how a husband is to love his wife (Eph. 5:25). Ezekiel. 37:3-6 is the scripture that the Holy Spirit had given me for my marriage and family. It is what I had declared and stood upon and have watched come to pass before my eyes. The Lord is restoring my marriage and family. The Lord has regenerated my spirit and is renewing my mind daily with His Holy Word. The Lord has also given me a new identity, “I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus” (2 Cor. 5:17 ).

I have been given the privilege to be on staff at Shiloh as a resident counselor for six months now.  I enjoy serving in leadership in the Kingdom of God. I have been given the opportunity of participating in the fulfillment of the charge Jesus gave His disciples in Mathew 28:18-20 (“go teach and make disciples”). This scripture has been written upon my heart by the Holy Spirit. It is the driving force for me and  my wife Natalie. We are  stepping into and fulfilling our destiny together in the Kingdom of God.

I have also watched with amazement the Hand of God move mightily in my entire family. He has restored my relationship with my father Blackie and also my father in-law  & mother in law. It was a joy to see my mother Polly experienced the baptism in the Holy Spirit. I have seen my beautiful wife Natalie transformed into a woman of integrity, honor and purpose, a Proverb 31:10-31 woman through a women’s ministry in Alabama. I remember well the three year felony probation I was put on before I  came to Shiloh. But after five months of serving in the Kingdom here at Shiloh my probation officer called me and told me I was completely off of probation. Hallelujah! That was sixteen months completely done away with, PRAISE GOD! I believe that was the Lord saying all strings from my past were being cut off.  “I am a new creation in Christ, the old has passed away, Behold the fresh and new has come”. Thank you my Lord!

I know that my marriage has been restored for purpose in the Kingdom of God. My wife and I now seek the council of the Holy Spirit for the Lord’s will to be fulfilled in our lives so the Word of God can be on display in our lives for others to see by the Grace of God. I want to thank Pastor Rocky, Sister Debbie, Bro. David, Pastor Mike, Pastor Randy and Jason for their faithfulness and life of abandonment lived and taught before us. I also want to thank everyone who participated in this supernatural miracle that has taken place in my marriage and family. I give You, my Lord Jesus all Glory, Honor and Praise for Your breath of Life, breathed into these dry bones. For You Lord have  given me purpose and a new  “Life” . Thank you Sir!
